Bay
Area Buzz
is the new, all-music resource for the active Bay Area music community. An independently
owned and operated free bi-monthly magazine, Bay Area Buzz is chock full of
information and insight on independent bands that matter covering everything
from indie-pop to hip hop to stoner-metal and anything in between with a special
focus on local artists. Every issue contains numerous features on bands, reviews
of live shows, concise and thoughtful reviews of new releases, as well as interviews
with pertinent local industry folks and specials on various issues pertaining
to the scene. Our readers span the gamut from the casual music fan to the nightly-gigging
musician, the local record store clerk to the college kid sifting through the
bins. Buzz's mission is to spotlight the best new bands, encourage our readers
to support them, and to facilitate the cross-pollination between the underground
and the mainstream.
